Chezeaux, J. 2017 Bourgogne Rouge

100% Pinot Noir. Raspberry, cherry, lightly earthy, with a whisper of catmint. This is finely etched and subtle Pinot. This is a true Burgundy lover's wine. Restrained, bright acidity, with a very elegant and svelte palate. The texture is taut that lingers on the finish. Drinkable now, but will be much more open in 6 to 12 months. Certainly one of the best basic Bourgognes out in limited circulation.
