Forlorn Hope 2015 Viuda 26
A blend of Tempranillo and Graciano. Deep and dark fruits, plum, cherry, blackberries, sage, rosemary, peppercorn, and smoke. Wildly intriguing nose leads to texturally tamer palate, as the tannins are fine and silky. Pointedly attenuated finish that lingers and lingers. Quite unusual varieties for California, quite exceptional for wine in the New World.
