Peillot 2020 Bugey Mondeuse

100% Mondeuse. Black raspberry, cherry, violets, mineral, and a hint of black licorice. True to varietal character this wine is tannic and tart. The fruit concentration is notable and the wine pairs well with rich sauces and fatty meats and fowl. Will soften and improve with aging.
