Vajra, G.D. 2022 Rosabella Vino Rosato
Predominantly Nebbiolo with a bit of Barbera and Dolcetto. Raspberries, cherries, pomegranate, lightly floral, with a hint of salinity. Made in the saignée method, or “bleeding” of juice from a tank of fermenting red grapes; and what is left in the tank will become a red wine. Body is light, almost ethereal, and the wine is nicely refreshing. This is, at the very least a two season rosé; sip in the spring and summer! Organic.
