Ampeleia 2016 IGT “Ampeleia”

100% Cabernet Franc. Red currants, black raspberries, cocoa, and underbrush that speaks of herbs and earth. For a "Super Tuscan" this wine is light on its feet with medium plus concentration, and flavors that dance on the palate. Tannins are soft but give the wine more length and structure. The finish is more delicate than brooding, but stays with you and begs another sip.
