Slavček 2020 Pinot Grigio (Sivi Pinot)Slovenia

100% Pinot Grigio (Sivi Pinot). Apples, citrus, quince, honeysuckle, and a subtle warm spice. This "orange" wine from Slovenia is a good way to get started in this category. About 24 hours on the skins gives the wine an deeper hue and a red wine like texture. But this is not one of those funky, shock treatment, orange wines. It is beautifully balanced and the extra texture and complexities are sure to make this a new favorite. Organic.
