Chezeaux, J. 2019 Bourgogne Rouge

100% Pinot Noir. Raspberry, cherry, lightly earthy, with a bit more racy, tantalizing fruit than the previous vintage. Still, it is a finely etched and transparent Pinot Noir. This is a true Burgundy lover's wine. Rounded, with bright acidity, and an elegant palate. The texture is taut yet on the full side, and lingers on the finish. Drinkable now, and will age very well for 3-5 years. Certainly one of the best basic Bourgognes out in limited circulation.
