Gahier, Michel 2020 Arbois Trousseau “La Vigne Du Louis”

100% Trousseau. Red currants, black raspberries, blood orange, turned earth, and mineral notes. These are 45+ year old vines and this shows when comparing this with the Le Clouset. The wine’s lofty aromas follow through on the palate. The flavors are deep and the texture borders on silky with impressive concentration. Another “fabulous and delicious” wine. Best to hold a few years, but decanting in advance will open this up nicely. Organic.
