Viña Sastre 2020 Ribera del Duero Roble

100% Tempranillo. Dark cherries, Rainier cherries, deep plum, licorice, oak, and light earthy notes. Full, with expressive fruit flavors, not quite dense but with good concentration on the palate. The wine spends about eight months in a mix of various sized French and American oak barrels.
