Furlotti 2018 Malbec Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza)

100% Malbec. Plums, black cherries, violets, with a whiff of cocoa. The wine is aged in old French oak, 30%, and then held in bottle for at least a year before being relieased. For a full-bodied Malbec this is remarkably balanced. It is also drinking quite well five years from vintage. Concentrated flavors with fine tannins lead to a very long finish. Perfect with steak au poivre or a cheeseburger.
