Gen del Alma 2020 JiJiJi Red

50% Malbec and 50% Pinot Noir. Black raspberry, black currants, cherry and plum are the main fruits, then there is a hint of violets with some crushed stone. The palate is bright with tart fruit intensity and a very focused concentration of flavors, especially for a light red. Carbonic maceration is key here to capture the fruit flavors and the grapes co-fermented, which makes this an unusual wine, especially from Argentina.
