Guiberteau 2021 Saumur Blanc

100% Chenin Blanc. Vineyards planted between 1935 and 2012 from old vines on the lower slopes of Brézé and young vines from Clos de Guichaux and Clos des Carmes, clay-limestone. Grapes are pressed with whole clusters, ambient yeast fermentation, blocked malolactic fermentation, and aged for 7-10 months on the lees in a combination of stainless steel tanks and foudres, filtered. Very limited. Certified in 2007, but converted to organic in 2000.
