Coto de Gomariz 2022 Ribeiro Tinto “The Flower and the Bee”

100% Sousón. Blueberries,, wild berries, tart cherry, thyme, and barely a whiff of dried leaves. The wine starts out in the mouth with a burst of berry fruit and a backdrop of leaves, then lightens to a grape-y essence. A touch rustic and edgy on the palate, the wine finishes with a tangy bite, and a touch of spice and tannin. Aged in barrel for four months. Pairs nicely with mixed tapas, arroz con pollo, and pork tenderloin. Organic.
