Paillard, Pierre NV Les Parcelles XVII Bouzy Grand Cru Extra-Brut 375ml (half-bottle)

70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Aromas of apple, quince, citrus, pear, honey, toasted hazelnuts, and biscuits. A deep golden color and the persistent bubbles make for a very attractive glass of wine, but the aromas and the flavors are the real compelling features. Lovely fruit, honey, and roasted nuts combine for a complex wine with vibrant acidity and a dry finish. A base of 2017 wine topped off with reserve wine from older vintages.
