Giovannini 2023 Rubicone (Emilia-Romagna) Sangiovese

100% Sangiovese. Dark and sour cherries, violets, with a hint of tobacco, cocoa and meatiness. Full-flavored, but balanced and food friendly. Medium-bodied-plus, with supporting tannins and a long, ripe finish. Really impressive under $15 wine that shows excellent character and pure varietal expression.
