Mont-Olivet 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape

A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, etc. This classic CdP is loaded with deep flavors of blackberry, baked plums, pepper, olives, violets, and earth. Full-bodied yet well-balanced. This vintage (2020) is also remarkable for the Rhône, but compared to the 2019 just a bit more structure and a little less fat. As always, the wines from Mont-Olivet in any vintage are a safe bet, but the quality to price ratio here is outstanding.
