Punta Crena 2020 IGT Colline Savonesi Rosso “Cruvin”

100% Crovino. Blackberries, blueberries black raspberries, and raspberries, wild herbs, and licorice, with an earthy component. Lip-smacking acidity at first sip with a medium-bodied palate and easy-going tannins. Nicely dry with a good concentration and long, tart, finish. The Ruffino family may be one of the few if not last to grow this grape as it can be tricky. The grapes tend to drop when ripe, hence the hopeful red fox on the label.
