Barthod, Ghislaine 2023 Bourgogne Blanc “Les Graviers”

100% Chardonnay. Lemon rind, pineapple, kiwi, toast, and lees. Aged for one year in a combination of 50% each, used 500-liter oak barrels and terracotta jars. The wine is fresh, sleek and lean, yet has satisfying concentration length. Although the flavors are delicate, they build and coat the palate. For young vines, this shows the craft that is inherent in the Barthod vineyards and cellar. Limited.
