Chezeaux, J 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté

100% Aligoté. Lemon, pineapple, lemongrass, and fennel bulb. Typical of Aligoté there is a sleekness of the palate's mouth-feel, with vibrant acidity. The finish is minerally and has some interesting umami flavors that give the wine wine persistence. Chezeaux owns a small 0.8-hectare parcel of Aligoté vines spread over three plots along the cool edge of the forest above the village of Prémeaux-Prissey: Aux Petit Creussote (planted with 60 years old vines), Combe Guyot (40 years old) and La Fouche (20 years old). Only stainless steel is employed in the vinification and aging of this zesty cuvée.
