Fabien Jouves 2024 Cahors Malbec “Jour Fruit”

100% Malbec. Deep plum, black cherry, tangy raspberry, and a bit of sous bois. Deeply colored and very fruit-forward Malbec from Cahors. Not tannic and I would almost say chill it, but its character lies somewhere between a soif and a medium bodied red. Excellent concentration of fruit flavors on the palate, and just enough bite on the finish. Goes with grilled selections of all kinds. Organic.
