Hornillos Ballesteros 2022 Ribera del Duero Crianza “Mibal”

100% Tempranillo. Dark cherries, Rainier cherries, deep plum, licorice, oak, and light earthy notes. Full, with expressive fruit flavors, not quite dense but with good concentration on the palate. The wine spends about fourteen months in a mix of various sized French and American oak barrels. Organic.
