70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Red currants, blueberries, black raspberries, a bit of barnyard, some floral aromas, and a flare of herbs. This, the second wine of Le Puy, is an over-achiever and a bit under the radar with regards to Bordeaux. The Amoreau family has had the property since 1610 - mind-blowing if you think about it. The wine is sensationally funky and organic.
