Sesti 2023 Toscana IGT “Monteleccio”

100% Sangiovese. Black cherry, fresh plum, blackberry, tea, and almond biscotti. This is a full-bodied Tuscan red that somehow remains high-toned and fresh. A long finish and silky tannins. The wine is aged for one year in large barrels (30 hecto-liter botti). This will certainly age for a few years but it’s just so darn good now! Organic.
